GUIDELINES: Individuals Not Applying for Enrollment in KY Tech Program

1.

Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) will cover the $35 fee for the KY Tech Entrance Battery. Other specialized assessment tests will be covered at $15 per test.

2.

Vocational Assessment fee(s) can be interaccounted. The EP-8-3 should be used.

3.

DVR authorization and KY Tech bill must be issued as Evaluation Services-Vocational Assessment rather than Training Services-Registration Fee.

GUIDELINES: Individuals applying for Enrollment in KY Tech Program

1.

DVR will not cover the $35 fee for the KY Tech Entrance Battery at the time of testing. Rather DVR will continue to cover the Registration Fee at the time of enrollment as the $35 KY Tech Entrance Battery fee can be applied toward the Registration Fee. The individual will be given a certificate redeemable for the $35 Registration Fee.

2.

DVR will cover the charges for any additional test instruments at the time of testing. Guidelines A2 and A3 (above) should be followed.
