Fee for Individual Job Coaching Services for Competitive Employment
A fee of $15.00 per hour up to
a total of 100 hours (at $15.00 per hour)
per consumer may be allowed for individual job coaching services for a
competitive employment goal.
The function of individual job coaching results in a development of job skills
and competencies to meet the consumer’s and employer’s work standards.
Services may include:
Orientation to the job site, employer, and co-workers
Individualized on-site job training
and systematic instruction in job functions and/or skills
Attention to work habits
Collaboration with the consumer, employee, and
co-workers
Adaptations and work-site accommodations
Job development
Transportation training
Data collection and assessment
Follow-up training and support
Written training summary report to the vocational rehabilitation
counselor
The amount of job coaching per
consumer will vary. Each pay
authorization should be issued in advance of the service provision and should
specify the actual number of hours needed.
Progress reports should accompany bills.
Each bill should specify the actual number of hours. Use
Expenditure Category Code 35C on pay authorizations.
