THE REHABILITATION ACT OF 1973, AS AMENDED

This version of the Rehabilitation Act was developed by staff of the Rehabilitation Services Administration. While unofficial, it is judged to accurately reflect the statutory provisions of the Act as amended through August 1998. It incorporates the 1992 and 1993 amendments to the Act (P.L. 102-569 and P.L. 103-73) and the changes required by the technology-related assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Act Amendments of 1994, the improving America’s Schools Act, the Federal Reports Elimination and Sunset Act, and the Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998.
