ALICE
LLOYD COLLEGE STUDENT BUDGETS FOR AWARDING
FINANCIAL AID FOR 2003-2004
Yearly Alice Lloyd College determines the total cost for each student. Student budgets depend upon the living arrangements of the student and whether the student is dependent upon his/her parents or guardians for support. Dependency
status is based on the answers students gave when completing the FREE
APPLICATION FOR FINANCIAL AID (FAFSA). Students should contact the Financial
Aid Director regarding any unusual circumstances. In most cases all students
under the age of 24 are considered dependent students and must report their
parent’s income for calculation of Budgets
for the 2003-2004 academic year are below. Each student’s financial aid is
awarded to help cover these typical costs. If the student has significant
outside costs other than the ones listed, he or she should contact the Financial
Aid Director. Indirect
costs are approximate figures that do vary for each student according to his or
her lifestyle and personal needs. These expenses are not part of the bill that
the student owes the College, but books can be purchased at the ALC Bookstore.
Direct costs are those paid by all students to the College. STUDENTS
MUST APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID EACH ACADEMIC YEAR THROUGH FILING THE FREE
APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL AID (FAFSA) PRIOR TO FEBRUARY 15TH. Students
with Pell eligibility will have tuition, room and board met by a combination of
grants and the students work program. STUDENT BUDGETS Cost of Education (guaranteed from Grants, Scholarships, and Work-Study for students eligible for the Opportunity Grant) $6360.
