MITCHELL, AKRON) 2003-2004 The following components are used to calculate the direct cost for a student attending Southern Ohio College: Tuition $156 (per credit hour) General Fee $ 10 (per credit hour) Text Books $425 (per quarter) Computer Networking Diploma: Tuition $300 (per credit hour) Fees $ 25 (per credit hour) The National Standardized Budget figures provided by American College Testing (ACT) are utilized to determine a students monthly indirect costs for room & board, transportation, and personal (includes clothing, laundry, personal care, recreation, gifts, etc.) expenses as follows:
The direct cost components used in the calculation of the cost of attendance budgets will be adjusted for changes in enrollment status within an academic year for all Title IV programs except Pell, unless the enrollment status I less than half-time. The room & board and personal expenses used as common components in the calculation of the cost of attendance budgets will be eliminated in the Pell budget for students enrolled less than half-time. Example: The following example illustrates the cost of attendance calculation for a new student attempting 12 credit hours the fall quarter, 12 credit hours the winter quarter, and 12 credit hours the spring quarter. The students in the first academic year of the Computer Science program and lives away from home. Tuition $5,616 36 x $156 = 5,616 General Fee 360 36 x $10 = 360 Books 1,275 $425 + $425 + $425 = $1,275 Room & Board 5,598 $622 x 9 = $5,598 Transportation 1,854 $206 x 9 = $1,854 Personal 1, 764 $196 x 9 = $1,764 |
