* Mandatory fees are estimated at $309.50 per semester and include such things as the student health fee, activity fee, technology fee, Seaton Center fee, etc., and are required of all students attending the University of Kentucky and all of its Colleges.

** Other fees include Hepatitis B vaccine for Year 1 and National Board Exams for Year 2 and 4.

 

Students are also permitted to borrow the fees that lenders charge for origination/insurance premiums.  An average of  $750 may be added to the Cost of Attendance                      budget to cover these charges and is based on 3% of the average amount borrowed per year.

*Living expense budgets will be adjusted for students living with parents and for documented child day care expenses.  The living expense amounts are based on a collective annual survey by currently enrolled dental and medical students along with information derived from the Federal Consumer Price Index.
